West Coast Insulation is located in Seattle, Washington, just West of Fisherman’s Terminal on Commodore Way. Specializing in most forms of marine insulation, we have access to a variety of insulation solutions from structural fire protection and thermal insulation, to domestic water pipe insulation, as well as specializing in custom exhaust lagging. Founded in 1977, West Coast Insulation remains a family owned business and part of the S3 Maritime, LLC team, supporting the commercial fishing fleet, private yachts, and large passenger vessel. With a team of installers, we are able to assist with new builds, retro-fits, and repairs. Always wanting to stay at the fore front of technological advancements, West Coast Insulation invested in waterjet cutting machines in the early 2000s, finding the process of cutting insulation using water was exponentially more efficient. Seeing an opportunity to increase the capabilities and services offered, West Coast Insulation officially opened West Coast Waterjet, with the ability to provide stand-alone waterjet cutting services to a variety of industries Nationwide.
Currently operating at the main Seattle location, West Coast Waterjet features two state of the art Flow International waterjet machines, a MACH 3 running up to 60,000psi and a MACH 4C running up to 90,000 psi. West Coast Waterjet, is able to cut a wide variety of materials, and can handle the most delicate artistic project, to large volume production work. Featured online, we have listed raw material that can be purchased in pre-cut sizes.
